Avicena Group to Present at 2006 BIO InvestorForum
PALO ALTO, CA., October 13, 2006 — Avicena Group, Inc. (OTCBB: AVGO), a biotechnology company focused on the commercialization of its proprietary cellular energy modulation platform technology, announced today that Avicena's Chief Executive Officer Belinda Tsao-Nivaggioli, Ph.D., will deliver a corporate presentation at the 2006 Biotechnology Industry Organization InvestorForum. The conference, which is by invitation only, will be held from October 17 - 19, 2006 at The Palace Hotel in San Francisco.
Dr. Tsao-Nivaggioli's presentation will take place at 9:30 a.m. PT on Thursday, October 19. The presentation will provide an overview of the Company's drug development pipeline as well as its dermaceutical products.
